Description of the Works
A new control panel is to be installed to the Netball plant room to control the high level Ambi-rad/Powermatic gas heaters. The new control panel requires a new data point to connect the new BMS controller.
A new data point will be installed from the server cupboard adjacent to the reception on the ground floor through the building to the 2nd floor plant room level. The new data cable will use existing data routes which will require contractors to be working in the reception area, in front of the usual entrance to Badminton courts, first floor breakout space / riser cupboard and 2nd floor plant room.
The alternative badminton entrance will need to be used while contractors work in the area.
The work is to be carried out by the University data contractor: PR Power Installations Ltd.
